If you are experiencing distress due to isolation, short or long term health issues, homelessness, financial or family crises and live in the Yarra Valley or Mooroolbark region of Victoria, you may be eligible to access support from one of our services. Our team and church network can provide:

  • Fresh and pantry food items, frozen meals, food delivery
  • Bill help and petrol vouchers
  • A listening ear
  • Referrals to local support agencies
  • Social connection by volunteering
  • Access to a supportive local church network

Once our friendly and caring team understand your specific needs, we can arrange access to our services, connect you to the local community and refer you to our network of agencies. We have five social supermarkets you can visit for the first time without registering. Learn more here. Our bill help and petrol vouchers have limited availability for anyone eligible residents living in the areas with the postcodes 3799, 3797, 3139, 3140, 3138 or 3777.

I need urgent help now. Can you assist?

We do not provide immediate or emergency relief services.

  • Call 000 if someone is seriously injured or in need of urgent medical help, if your life or property is being threatened or if you have just witnessed a serious accident or crime.
  • Text 106 if you need to Text an Emergency Call. You can call from teletypewriters.
  • Call 132 500 for storm and flood assistance.
  • Call 131 444 to contact Police other than in an emergency.

How can LinC Yarra Valley help me?

We assist eligible residents in the Yarra Valley and Mooroolbark region with:

  • fresh and pantry food items, frozen meals and food delivery
  • bill help and petrol vouchers
  • social connection through our social supermarkets and church network’s outreach programs
  • volunteer opportunities
  • playgroup in Yarra Junction on Fridays during the school term for families with pre-school aged children

Please note – we are not an emergency service and the majority of our programs are run by our volunteer team and church network.

No. Please come along to the social supermarket closest to you and introduce yourself to one of our friendly team members. Please remember to bring your own bags. Find out more here.
