About the program

The LinC Volunteer Program program continues to grow with over 50 volunteers that support people and families within our community on a weekly basis. Our dedicated team ensure that people who need support have access to it providing the much needed services that make a difference to people’s lives.

How can I become a volunteer?

If you’re interested in becoming a volunteer we would love to hear from you. Whether you have a special skill or would just like to spend time helping others there is always a service or program that will suit you.

What type of services can I volunteer for?

Fresh food and meal distribution
Mowing, gardening, food deliveries
Office administration
Digital support and marketing

These skills are always in demand however if you have other skills or experience we would love to talk to you to discuss what you can bring to the team.

If you have a passion for serving your community and are moderately skilled in navigating the digital world (sending emails, updating word and excel documents and/or using social media) we’d like to hear from you.  Please call Mark or Julie on 5967 2119 for a confidential discussion.

Fresh Food team Leaders and crew

Volunteers needed for current (Fridays) and new LinC fresh food sites in Yarra Valley area.  Own van or large car would be helpful. Tasks include lifting, pick up and delivery of food to multiple sites.  Cook and kitchen helpers also required. Persons must be fit and able.  Food safety training will be provided and police, working with children and reference checks are required.  Please call Deb, Maria or Julie on 5967 2119 for a confidential chat.
