LinC Play is a welcoming playgroup for young children and their parents and carers, run by volunteers from the LinC Yarra Valley community.
Early parenting can be joyful and it can also be lonely, especially when friends and family might not be close by. LinC Play exists to ease social isolation by creating a simple, friendly space to connect with other parents, share a cuppa-level conversation, and let the children play.
You don’t need to “know someone” to come along. If you’re new to the area, new to parenting, or simply looking for connection, you’re welcome here.

Fridays, 9.30am–11.30am
During the school term
Where
We have relocated to the meeting room in the Yarraburn Centre, 1 Park Road, Yarra Junction from term 2, 2026, for 4 – 6 months, while the Upper Yarra Family Centre roof is fixed.
What to bring
Please bring a snack and drink from home for your child.
What to expect
A community-run playgroup where:
- children can play safely
- parents and carers can meet others locally
- connection happens naturally, without pressure
