At LinC Yarra Valley, it looks like fresh food shared with dignity. It looks like volunteers welcoming people by name. It looks like families finding connection, encouragement and practical help during difficult seasons.

On Friday 12 June, we’re opening our doors for a special community supporters event at Yarra Junction – and we’d love you to join us.

This relaxed morning gathering is an opportunity to learn more about the work happening across the Yarra Valley and Mooroolbark, meet the people behind the programs, and explore ways our community can continue responding to growing local need together.

As cost-of-living pressures continue to affect more households, organisations like LinC Yarra Valley are seeing increasing demand for emergency relief, fresh food access and social connection programs. More people are reaching out for help for the very first time – including working individuals and families who never expected to need support.

Behind every program are volunteers, donors, churches, local businesses and community members choosing to make a difference quietly and consistently.

This event is designed to help people better understand:

• Who LinC Yarra Valley is
• What our programs do
• Why this work matters
• How collaboration strengthens local community care

Guests will have the opportunity to:

• Meet the LinC team and community supporters over morning tea
• Hear a short presentation about LinC’s work and partnerships
• Tour the Yarra Junction Social Supermarket and LinC Play programs
• Discuss practical ways to support and collaborate locally
