LinC Yarra Valley Community Impact Report 2025
Across the Upper Yarra Valley and Mooroolbark area, we have continued to walk alongside individuals and families with practical support, compassion, and connection, made possible by the generosity of volunteers, partner churches, donors, and local supporters.
This year, LinC Yarra Valley delivered more than $2.61 million in value to the community. More than 400 tonnes of food were shared through social supermarkets, 120 children received Christmas gifts, and the Board and Executive contributed 496 volunteer hours.
Perhaps most striking of all, over 96.5% of donations went directly to community programs. These numbers reflect something simple but powerful: support given by this community is being turned into real help for local people.
Behind every number is a human story. Our social supermarkets provided more than 400 tonnes of fresh and pantry food, with growing demand across the region, including more than 260 people each week at Yarra Junction alone. Our Crisis Support program delivered practical help with food hampers, bills, fuel and emergency needs, while LinC Play, now one year old, has created a safe and welcoming place for parents and children to connect, reducing isolation and building community.
As cost of living pressures continue to rise, the need for our services is not slowing down. That is why the support of donors, churches, volunteers, businesses and grant partners matters so deeply. Every contribution helps LinC Yarra Valley strengthen volunteer training, grow our social supermarket capacity, and build sustainable funding for the future.
Together, we are helping build a stronger, more compassionate community. Thank you for being part of that story.
